It will shoot through the grill, onto the rear windsheild into the cabin of the car. Either that or have the port shoot through the ski slot. Which do you think?
I would not stress that too much to be honest. Seeing that you should feel bass and not hear it, then I doubt you need to go through the hassle of having the ports point up through (or at) the 6x9 openings in the rear deck. If you have enough speaker and amp, then none of that will be necessary. You might still want to remove your 6x9s to allow more sound to naturally come into the cabin, but I don't think having the ports pointing right at those speaker holes will give you that much more sound. Just my 2 cts.

That would be a good place - I thought about that too, but the kick panel on the driver side does not really allow for great imaging. That's why I picked the spot on the door panel just above the mid location. You *could* counter sink the tweets in the location rather than do a flush mount like I did. I think either location is better than stock though.

Well, either that or I was thinking on the opposite side of the sideview mirror, where the black triangle is. My first concern was being able to put the car back to stock, however, my car has 160,xxx miles on it. I doubt that I'll get much for the car once I get something new in 1.5 years. I'll do some research and see if I can find anyone's fabrication that I like.

i was thinking that location too but running the wires there would be a bid diff..i think? You can't go wrong with audio b/c you can take it with you when you sell the car unless its a hassle to take out custon installs.

hah, i've been wondering what those were by the dome light. i'm like these look like speakers but i swear i don' thear shit coming from them. the kenwood components i bought fit perfectly in the front window tweet spots, that's where i'm keeping mine. i didn't put the crossover on yet so i get some crackling at higher volumes, but it's pretty temp for the time being.

yeah those tweeters by the dome are out of order once you put in an aftermarket HU. How did you manage to take apart the dash to install the 1" tweeters?

I think the one's by the windshield...you pop off the cover and then take the speakers out?

yah that's what we did. they just popped out. i will say that they didn't snap back in so i just got some double sided tape to hold them back in. the driver side one was a bitch because there's some kind of sensor or something in there and the angle of the windshield was hard to get it back in, but none the less...

it's possible we broke something since as much as i could study it, there wasn't anything else to snap back in to.

oh and that black sensor thing adjust the hotness/coldness of the ac/heater by the temp of the inside of the car.

yah i just tried to do it as careful as possible and as straight up as possible, but like i said... they didn't snap back in or anything and as far into the hole and on the piece that comes out, i didn't see any snaps or anything like that. i couldn't even see any signs of me breaking anything, so i dunno what to say. just used some double sided tape and it's fine. not like it's a door speaker or sub that's gonna rattle if it's not secure.

Actually that sensor is for the temperature outside, the sensor for inside your car is the little vent to the right side of your steering wheel embedded into the wood trim.

It doesn't have any display for the outside temp. I have no idea what it's for, I just know that the one on the windshield is for the outside temp. When you press the button "AUTO" and adjust the knob to the right temperature, your car automatically put more heat, or take out heat to get it to your desire temperature.
