I am having problems with my blower, and a/c, (I have to beat the dash to get it to start.... then...... tick******tick*****tick***tick**tick*tick*tick*... ..and so on. So anyways, I was going around a corner and low and behold and extremely refreshing shower of ice cold water covered my foot, I was pleasantly suprised. Must be custom, now all i need is primer and hood pins. FXXX! Just had the tranny replaced and misc dtc codes .... 12, 50,70, 76, 78, 80....... any ideas...... anyone...?

Not sure if they are set up the same way but I have owned two Accords and have had the exact same thing happen in both(water portion, not the beating on the dash to get it started). The fix in both cases was the same and very inexpensive. Seems that there is a drainage tube for condesation under/behind the glove box. The tube runs vertically from under the box and then down through the firewall. If this gets blocked or gummed up, the condensation back up and pools. When you go around corners the water rushes out the ventilation ducts by either your right foot or the passenger's left. So the fix for me in both cases was to have my local garage disconect the drainange tube and blow it out with a air hose from a compressor. Both times they did it for free.
Again not sure if this is the same thing, but you might want to try this. My Accords were a 94 EX sedan and a 96 EX Wagon.

I just popped the drainage tube off, oh yeah that shlt was full. Really full. Damn near drowned my ecu full. Anyhow, my blower actually came on more than once (rare) and had a little more power. The drainage problem was caused by a lazy putz who decided that the ecu housing was snug enough without the mounting nuts. Unfortunatly, that was only part of the problem. I will soon figure out the exact cause of these common problems, shared by the 1st gens; some even carried to the next gen in case you didn't notice). Anyhow, thanks for the input.
BUT................I hear a relay or similar mechanism *click* when the fan is turned to 5, then if I turn the fan to 1 and pause.....turn it up real quick.....the wimpy not-quite-satisfying *click* is heard again, the pause between the control hitting max (5) and the *click* is however varied by as much as .2 seconds. This excessive resistance (dirty contacts in a relay?), combined with the motor probably having debris in it, may be the cause.
Could it be the aftermarket HU, mounting conflict, wiring or amp. draw conflicts?????????? Where the air is sucked in happens to be pushed in a little (damn well could be the prob...................but who knows. I have more time than money right this very instant, so it looks like I will learn to REPAIR a blower motor (without doing 8 hr. job). Grrrreat.
