Fuel Filter

I replaced my fuel filter with the help of the How to sticky on this forum.
Everything is ok. I just have some questions.
Should I see any major improvement with fuel consumption?
I used a generic fuel filter I purchased at AutoZone, is that ok or I should have used one from Acura dealer?

I haven't seen a major improvement in fuel consumption, but there has definately been a difference in how the engine runs. I think I have gotten a small increase though.

As long as the filter you got fits, and isn't leaking or anything, you should be fine. I got mine online (it is a bosche filter), not from a dealership.

Were there any problems with my instructions?

Isntruction is very accurate. There was no issue at all.
Once I loosen the top and the bottom one, it a very easy.( One thing you did not mention and that is, I really really had to use all my strenght to unserew (spin) both the top and the bottom , they were really tight, LOL ).
