ok i did the mod, i connected the red wire with silver traces to the red/blue wire, but for some reason they come on whenever i want ( they are on constant power) i tested the red wire with silver traces and it was constant ,
did i connect the wrong wires, the bundel that it was in had those 2 wires a red/green wire and a bunch of green wires (7-10 i would guess)

did anyone else have this problem?

you did it right you have to turn them on and off with the button in the car. dont forget to turn them off!!!

Yeah I know its weird. Some people wired it up and thats the way it came out. Mine only come on if the parking lights are on. Test the wire you tapped with a test light and see if it gets power with the parking lights off. You want to tap into the parking light wire so it should only have power with the lights on. Maybe there are 2 wires that look similar. I did it so long ago I don't remember.

i tested the red wire , and i also tested the red /green , red/black and there were a couple more... i guess ill just get the tech sheet on a tl and just run a jumper from there to the fog wire( red/blue)

I wired mine so I can have them on anytime I want. I have a seperate switch for them. Bunch of times I walk out and go, damn, left fogs on, hehe. But I love rollin with the parkin lights and those on.

I think the way you wire the fog will have problem, try turn on the fog and headlight with the key off, I think you will have power to the ignition, not sure but I think it happen to me when I did it that way, and now I have the fog relay tap in to the parking light.

The way I have mine, works just fine bro. I have a seperate switch for it. Doesn't have power to ignition when car is off.

i think if i just tap the wire for the parking light that they used to do the alarm it will work cause it will get + power when my parking lights get power and wont get power when there off
