OK AMONG THE MANY POSTED THREADS EXPLAINING HOW TO ALLOW THE FOG LIGHTS TO BE TURNED ON WHILE THE HEADLIGHTS ARE OFF---NONE EXPLAIN WHICH TWO WIRES TO SPLICE FOR THE 3.2 TL---PLS SOMEBODY EXPLAIN WHO HAS DONE THIS-THANKS THANKS THANKS

 

I asked this same question before and got a few responses, but people were just "guessing" what wires needed to be spliced, so i left it alone.

 

Dude, as someone has said it already on another thread, turn the caps lock off. Typing with caps on means that you are yelling.

If you have read the thread, the wires are same for both 2.5 and 3.2. The only difference is its operation. For the 2.5, I believe the fogs turn on automatically whenever you turn the ignition on, so you have to manually turn it on and off. On the 3.2, however, the fogs are controlled by the exterior lighting circuit, that means that when you turn the parking lights on, the fog lights will turn on if you have depressed the fog light switch.

Hey, did the install this morning-took 3 minutes... Very easy--I have a 3.2 and I spliced the first two wires I saw that looked like the ones in the picss. turned my parking lights on--depressed the fog button and I got fog lights! thanks guys

 

Can someone point me to the thread that shows you how to do the foglight and parking light mod?
