FINALLY lowered the TL!!

FIRST OFF...I know I am gonna get flamed for this so I'll post it myself

Now that THAT is out of the way, it's been rainign here since Sunday night and I only put them on Friday evening. SO I will take pics this weekend once it stop raining and post them. Car looks GOOD! Back end is a little lower cause of the big-ass box, but that is going to be changed in a few weeks, so chould even it out. Would like to bring the front down instead acutally, but not about to cut the springs. Had them sitting for 2 YEARS! and finally just installed them last week. They wouldn't fit with the 18's so that's why I had to get the Type-S rims and get er all done. I also tinted all but the back window myself (gonna have someone do the rear, too hard to do properly!) and they came out really nice, 20% all around. I'll put some pics up like I said this weekend for sure. Gonna pick up the bulbs to do the dash as well this week. Finally gettin a lit of the little things done! If I could ever find time to finish my Carputer THAT woudl be great!!!

Yeah, until they die! LOL Which I expect won't be too long as the car has almost 240000 kms now and with the added strain of the 1.2" drop, I am sure they will give out sooner than later.

Why wouldn't they fit with your 18s?

18's rubbed W/O the springs, +45 offset, but tires were wider than normal 225's.

Now I'm afraid to lower mine with my 18s.

My 18s are also +45, but tires are 225/40/18 kumhos

Think I will have a problem?

I doubt it. Mine didn't rub when I had the Parada's on the 18's, it was only the new tires that had a REALLY big lip protector on them that made them even wider than most 225's that it started to rub. If it doesn't rub no with passengers and a system in the back, you will be fine.
