Falken Ziex ZE512

Feedback on this Set of tires?

I was going to get 215/60/16's for my 98 3.2.

I heard they were good, they are on sale @ Sears.

Thanks.

Had Falken's on my Integra. They were decent, not bad for what I payed, but not the BEST for the money.

There are numerous posts on the Falken Ziex, just do a search. Neuronbob, one of the mods has them on his 3G TL.

I just replaced my Yoke Parada's (EXCELLENT tire, but way too expensive for me to use again right now) with Essenza Type-S's, they run a lot quieter than tha parada's and were only $320 CDN installed/pair for 225/40/18's. They seem to handle pretty well, but I won't know for sure until I replace the other two in the spring before I put the 18's back on.

I'd have to say kumho tires. I got yokohama avid tourings on my car right now. I liked the ride but the handling could be better. My friend tried to talk me into getting falken azeni's for the tl. But since we go through a set of falkens every 10k miles I can't afford to spend $400 every 9-12 months on multiple cars.

I have Falken Ziex ZE512..granted I don't have a 1st gen TL (i have a G2 Legend), I can say these tires aren't bad. I dont' know about you guys, but i don't do any "spirited" driving so handling and such isn't an issue.

good driving skills+good tires > bad driving skills+best tires

Finally settled for a set of Yokohama's A550H's this is the SEARS generic for the Avid H4's.

Good looking tires. Sears is not selling them anymore, though, they stuck Sumitomo/Falkens.

I have a CL, but I have the 512 on my summer wheels and I like them a lot. Plenty of grip even for spirited driving, and grip well in the wet.

I have used these tires to autocross and they provide plenty of grip. If you can get a good deal on them, I'd say get them. Decent tire for the money.
