I had it replaced with an aftermarket muffler. The muffler & the pipe that leads into it is one piece. I believe it cost me less that $300 installed. I am happy with it.

if you dont need a muffler and its just the lead pipe it should cost you more than 100 bucks installed...if its a muffler you can get an oem type aftermarket for roughly 200 installed.

Deal said 600 for my flex pipe and my local smog check dude replaced it for around 200.

Whatever you do...stay away from the dealer (unless its covered by warranty)

Cool meinecke improvised

The joint on the muffler pipe where it meets the middle pipe rusted and cracked. Instead of a whole new muffler, which would've taken half a day to order in addition to being costly my local muffler shop just welded them together for $50. That was good for about 6 months, got me thru the winter.

I went to my local junkyard, there they just cut and weld a new flex pipe on cost me 30 bucks. They actually just use a regular pipe and bent it to match.
