Engine light on for the 1029810938471029387 time
I am tired of this sh*t. Sometimes I feel like going to home depot, buy a sledge hammer and go at it with the damn car. Seriously, the engine light has come on for about 5-6 times since owning this car.
I know the usual things that causes it to light up: misfire, oxygen sensor, not enough pressure in gas tank (tightening of the cap), dirty air filter, ..? The last time i had the engine light fixed ( last month and paid 350 for that shit), it is now back on. The engine feels fine and runs like a beast but it makes this loud humming sound as you accelerate and the humming does not stop. I'm thinking it has to do with the bearings or something. Anyhow, I fucking hate my car and want to drive it off a cliff. When I do so, I'll record it and put it on youtube for all to enjoy.

What did they need to fix? A bad wheel bearing wouldn't cause a CEL, I know because my front bearing's shot to shit. Man, you should just drive out to SF when I'm there and we can hook up my laptop setup to your car. All diagnostics, engine parameter monitoring, CEL code descriptions, the works. Also has a portable 1/4 track and dyno. I wouldn't trust the dyno 100%, but the 1/4 is pretty accurate, and it's a helluvalot more accurate than the garbage G-Pro.
~Cheers~
P.S. If you're spending so much on repairs, maybe a code reader would help. That way you don't get ripped off by repair shops since you can find out what's wrong. A scanner would be too expensive, but a reader starts at about $100.
~Cheers~

How was the DFW area? My friend is living there now because they couldn't afford to keep living in SF. It's just hard for me to think I need to drive 3 hours to get to water... I'm so used to seeing the ocean from my house. Now I see rivers around and Mt. Fuji from my front door, so I'm happy .
Sunset over Mt. Fuji = happiness.
