just make sure they are what i think is nicke plated. I got some and they were not plated. What happens after time, they begin to release rust residue and if you have rims it looks kinda nasty. Ive actually painted mine silver but you have too do that often in order to hide the crappy rust. The plated ones do not rust or show up less....

i thought that all rotors that are slotted helps release dust and heat.

It also prevents glazing on the rotors which in theory helps them last longer. Though, slotted rotors cannot be machined and your pads will get eaten up more quickly. It's all about trade-off's.
