I didn't think they did since my car came with a Valet Key from the dealer and is thinner. but when I bought my 96 2.5TL in April 99, they told me the key had to come from the dealer with that chip in it...
Dealer lies for more cash. I thought they told me a copy at the time was like $60! I would rather get a copy again since this 15yr old key is worn out!

^ Walmart told me the same thing, but I took my chance since it didn't cost much anyways.
How many keys came with the car? I got two of the same size from the previous owner so I guess I'm missing the valet.
