did the 95-98 ever have a factory 6-disc system? its on e-bay.

NO, DO NOT GET IT. It is the original SINGLE Disc player with cassette.

The first in-dash 6 disc player came out in the next generation TL's.

There WAS an optional TRUNK mounted 6 disc player though.

Spend your money on a new changer. If you want to keep your head unit, just get one with an RF Modulator to play through your existing system. The sound quality is slightly degraded, but not really noticeable except to an audiophile, especially in a car.

thats what i said to the seller saying that it wasnt an in-dash 6 disc...but he said i was lying

Well the newer head units have 6 disc and a cassette but thats with much newer technology.

The one in question is the stock single CD/cassette.
