Hello All

I Have Had My Tl For 4 Years Now With Very Little Problems . Just Recently My Factory Alarm (horn+lights Flashing) Goes Off For Apparantly No Reason . I Say This Because I Have Actually Watched The Car To See If Any One Was Messing With It & Alarm Goes Off With Nobody Or Anything Around . I Reset It & It Goes Off Again Sometimes In 1hr Or Sometimes In A Few Hours - It Always Seems To Happen At Night . Anyone Encounter This Frustrating Problem + Is There A Way To Unhook Alarm ?

The service bulletin is for 1996 3.2 TL - mine is a 97 , do you think it still applies ?

 

I had problems w/ my 94 Accord factory alarm system w/ random alarms occuring, however I noticed they always occurred some time after the car was parked. I checked battery voltage and it was low. Note, there is an alarm that sets when battery is tampered with and I suspect this is cause of alarm for weak battery. Anything less than 12V after being parked overnight would be suspect, even if car is starting OK.
