Was the car shaking a bit and did the exhaust make a popping noise? It could mean a misfire.

~Cheers~

the cel did it again today and so i took it to jiffy lube . 2 problems

cylinder misfire and insufficient gas

cylinder misfire im guessin i would need to replace the fuel injectors or clean them? and i will seafoam the gas tank tomorow and hopefully it will clean the fuel filter because i really dont want to change it because i heard it was a pain in the ass

This may be a bad O2 sensor. If you had a fuel supply code ( you should state what codes were sensed), it usually means an O2 sensor fault. ECU knows nothing about fuel pressure or volume delivery other than what O2 sensor measure (fuel/air mixture ratio).

Spark plugs could be an issue also, but intermittent nature suggests more likely O2 sensor.

good luck

Scanning will reveal the stored CEL.

i will pull out one of the spark plugs and chekc if they were gapped correctly because my brother was the one who gapped them for me . the receipt from schucks says i have a 1 year warranty on them, and i believe this is what is causing the misfire (i chekced all the coil pakcs and they are still all good) . seafoamed the gas tank today, cant really feel no difference . will also look into the o2 sensor
