I did one too.
I did it once with the screen set back a couple inches into the dash, and once with it nearly flush, and liked it nearly flush much better. Glare was still an issue either way, but it was easier to do and looked better nearly flush.

IVA-W200 should fit. I'm thinking about installing it with the satallite radio, ipod, and tv interfaces. I'd really lilke to wait though until Alpine comes out with a full 7" screen instead of the 6.5" screen.

I spent 800, but I don't use an optical drive in the car. Strictly Mp3,gps, Dvds (via ISO). UnsanePyro - did you make a mold or use the stock shroud? Looks good!

whats the deal with that rubber duck? well anyway i just installed the ps2 with wireless (2) mini controllers that fit in the arm rest thingy, HD tv tuner and some other stuff, but yeah everyone now just wants to hang out in my car which isnt too bad but clean up after is a mutha..... pardon my lang, bluetooth install was also extremely successful, overall everything looks stock, nothing looks aftermarket so i believe i have accomplished most of my mission concerning this vehicle, next thing on my agenda is the paint, doors, side mirrors, big rim upgrade( gotta get up to 20"), The TL is a great vehicle even tho it may burn a hole in your pocket, but i love my baby either way cuz the females love u and the fellas get mad when they see me in u and maybe her as well...lol, but the fellas now like my tl cuz its a meeting place now to bet on madden games...lol

The screen is a 7" lillput. I cut the buttons off and flipped it to conceal where I cut the buttons. I took the unit apart to secure it to the shroud. The VGA/USB cable is run down the middle of the car to the trunk. The trunk holds the mobo, PS, and HDD. I use a Delorme GPS receiver. Sound is provided by my CD player via AUX (Pioneer). I have a punch 250, but I am only using one channel - @ 2ohms with a L5 solobaric. Oh, the screen does have AV inputs besides VGA.... so you could switch to say a Playstation, xbox, rearview cam, etc. I like the apline, pioneer, eclipse units but you get more this way - I think. And the best part is I haven't burned a personal music cd since fall '05
I have no plans of putting it in a case.
I moved the GPS underneath the center-stop brake light...still picks up- Amazingly.
My SpeakerBoxx takes up alot of my trunk - the computer sits behind it.

Yeap, its an Opus 120. I feel your pain on the price - I would have gone with a 150w or 180w if there were cheaper back then. I'm not running a rearview, maybe in the future; if i can find a steal.
