Hi All,
This is my first message to the forum. I own 1998 3.2TL having 87k miles. Since a day or two, in the morning brake pedal gets jammed and my car won;t start. I push on the pedal 2-3 times and then it gets released and i can start my car. Rest of the day the car starts without any problem. One more thing i noticed, when i push on the brake pedal i hear some noise underneath the parking brake. I would appreciate your feedback.

I don't know about the brake pedal getting stuck. The noise you hear, I believe, is the lock on the gear shifter disengaging. If you dont have your foot on the brake, you can't shift out of park.

might want to get ur brake stuff checked...
if it comes down to it there shoudl be a slot near the gear shifter thingy where ur key can fit. jus stick ur key in there, shift to neutral, stick ur key back into ur ignition and drive away.
but yea you might want to get that checked

I got my brakes checked and they are fine but i am still having the problem. I think i will go to the dealer. They told me that there is a switch between brake pedal and ingnition which might have got damaged. Will let you know guys.
