Thumbs down Attempted to install gauges today... Also LED Question

After about an hour I had all 4 gauges installed... Went for a test drive and bout shit my pants... speedo would not work...

Long story short I took everything apart, now the speedo works, but I got em off ebay for 8 bucks anyway so I just put em back in an envelope and stored em in my desk... I'm just glad everything works now...

Couldn't decide wether I liked them or not... Oh well... Anybody else done gauges/had problems/fixes???

As for my LED question... I bought some LED 194s and tried that out... only problem is that the LEDs do not reflect the intensity of the light out very much... with all 5 of them in there were like hot spots and dim spots of light... any fix or different type of bulb for this?

sand down the led's so that it evens out the hot spots... i used a dremel... either that or invest in wide angle 105 degree viewing bulbs...
