yeah that happened on my TL. the dealer wanted 50 bucks to fix it. i'm like no thanks. it's only a 5 dollar bulb and the 45 bucks is to take off the dash. that's just a bunch of bull. all i did was buy the bulb and then followed the instructions in my helms manual to take off the dash and replaced the bulb. saved me 45 bucks. the reason the D4 bulb goes is cause most of us drive in D4 most of the time so it's constantly on.

That has happened to me, too.
Does anyone know if it is cover under extended warranty?
Still it is not smart to make a claim only for that. I think I will wait for something else to break and get it fixed at the same time.
Was it hard to fix yourself? How long did it take?

my ext. warranty covers more than my engine but anyway my damn d4 light is out also. i guess this goes with our slow scratched drivers side power windows. i am taking my car in monday because it dies after i start it and put in into drive sometimes and my front suspension sounds like an old ass boat all of the sudden. kinda worried this car has never made any noises. we will c mon. i will b in a sorry a$$ integra loner AGAIN.

My extended warranty covers almost everything bumper to bumper except stuff like brake pads, wipers, oil filters, etc. I have that API plan.
If I don't use the three year plan, I get the money back. So, I figure it isn't worth fixing something that costs $50. I guess I will wait for something bigger.

IMO if you want to fix up your car in any way you should get the service manual. not only is it a good source of how your car works, you can fix a problem if something ever comes up without taking your car into the dealership and spending all that money just for them to tighten a screw or something.

it's happened to me also, i fixed it myself, just used the bulb from the d3 indicator. it is kind of an a$$ but definitely worth saving the dollars on the repair bill.
my shift indicator took a dump on me recently, it works off and on it dosen't really bother me though. im just wondering what happened.
if you guys have the extended warranty from Traveler's insurance, check it out. they cover just about everything, as long as your mileage is still within the time/mileage frame.....aloha....
