Acura Stylin' --> What happened?

Does anyone notice how drastically different the 1st gens are from the 2nd gens? I remember Acura having a distinct look, and it all started with the legend. The 1st gen TL's (also CL & RL), IMO, are the last body to have that legend type look. I can remember being able to point out a legend from real far away, and still can. Now, I can't tell the difference between a Taurus and a 2nd gen TL until their up close. (maybe it's because I never wear my contacts ) Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone else notices this. Maybe it's just me.

2nd gen owners: Don't give me any sh!t about the comparison...like I said, I hardly ever wear my contacts.

moved Acura TL Type S

Y'all go ahead and kill him, he won't be able to see who, because he doesn't wear his contact lenses. I'll take those ADR GT Sport.

Nice...get them sideskirts painted! I'm not ecactly sure what kind of paint the body shop used, but it's similar to the paint used on the bumber. I think it's like a latex base. You gotta use somethin strong and durable because those skirts take a lot of abuse with all the stuff on the road coming up and hitting em, and also I notice that I scuff them a lot with by black shoes. Didn't notice it before because they were balck.

I think the corporate look is changing. The new Shield like pentagonial grill seems to be the new look along with the sharp edge down the middle of the hood. I like it, but I'm biased. I really like the classic look as well.

Yup, I agree...unfortunately all car manufactures' are going for the same corporate look. No that I don't like the new styling, but many cars now share the same characteristics, such as the front grill. Acura has always had it's unique style, but their models, IMO, are based too much on the accord platform. I guess you could say the same for Toyota and some of their Lexus models.
