AC unit making weird noise

I have a 97 3.2TL and i recently took out the AC unit to change out the bulbs. I was sitting in my car testing to see if everything works, which it does..but every time I rotate the temperature knob, i would hear some 'mechanical' adjusting noises.

I also hear a CLICK when i turn on the rear defroster..similar to the clicking of the turn signal.

Now the question is, does this happen with everybody else's TL? Or did I somehow mess something up...?

not sure about the defroster, but the temperature knob thing is normal. whichever way the system has to operate to get to your set temperature, it uses different vents to help cool the car down the fastest. The sound you hear is the vents opening and closing. dunno if that made any sense since i have a headache right now.

Normal. The click is the defroster relay kicking in.

~Cheers~

You said in your first post that you replaced the bulbs in the Climate Control. If you don't mind me asking how many bulbs are there and what size are they. I'm going to be doing the blue LED conversion as well and I want to know all the sizes and amounts of them that I have to order before I actually order them.

Don't forget that those are just bulb diameters. You still need to know what base to use!

^ I'll double check when I change my oil today. I'm going to have to go back there anyhow since my rear defroster light burned out.

~Cheers~
