Hello everyone! I have a 1996 Acura TL 3.2 and am having trouble figuring out what is wrong with the ABS. When I turn on the car the ABS makes a buzzing sound, the buzzing turns off and the ABS light turns on. I tried checking what code would pop up by using a paper clip on the DLC, on 4 and 9 but the ABS light did not blink any code. I was wondering if anyone has had this buzzing problem and if anyone knows how to get the code without using an expensive scanner, hence the paper clip... Thank you everyone.

 

Yes I had the same problem! I took the ABS fuse out and the noise went away ABS is no longer working but the noise is gone

 

same here. pulled fuse sound gone. but what i think it may be is a bad wheel sensor. i dont know why it would cause that but thats the only abs code my car throws.

 

My car makes the same noise it stops after about 20 seconds then I take off. I reed somewhere it just some air in the line that's why the pump turns on. Their is a way to get the air out I saw it on acurazine I will post it when I find it.

 

It would buzz as a normal procedure. I do not know about the ABS light though. Take it to BM Auto store and get it checked for free.

 

ABS Light on here too. Mine got a Code 18.

 

Code 18 is rear left wheel sensor electrical noise or an intermittent interuption.
