? about service and loaner
taking my tl in on fri for service at the dealer...the one time FREE emissions service, and possibily ball joint recall depending on whether it is applicable or not.
Because the service is free, I was wondering whether the dealer might screw me over i.e. tell me that he installed new plugs and wires when he really hasn't or tell me that the ball joint recall has already been performed when it really hasn't been. after installing new plugs on my accord it ran a lot better, but that was because it ran like crap to begin with. The 3.2 on the other hand runs fine as is. Is there anyway I can make sure the dealer does the job right or is this just not a problem with acura dealers (first time dealin with these guys)
Secondly, they say they have a loaner car available on the day of service. Will they have a problem giving a loaner car to a sixteen year old - is there a certain age u have to be to get a loaner vehicle. Thanks for any input on the matter.

Dealership experiences are very different. Some are great, others are horrible.
It can go either way depending on your dealership.
Chances are though.. you'll be fine.
As for the loaner, they'll probably not give you one. The usual minimum age is 18 or 21, depending on certain insurance rules and state laws.
You could wind up getting a Chevy Cavalier even if you DO get a loaner or a nearly brand new TL or RL.
