98 Caliper Stuck NEED HELP!

1998 Acura TL 3.2

I was changing the rear brakes, and came to realize both rear calipers are seized. I have no idea how to remove the parking brake cable, I was wondering if there's a how to guide, or perhaps anybody can walk me through it. I'm sorry in advance for the noobness.

ALL HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!!

Parking brakes operate like old drum brakes and therefore should have no affect on your caliper.

There is a cover behind the caliper, remove that and it will reveal the parking brake cable.

The caliper has to be rotated at the same time that it is pushed back in order for your new brake pads to fit.

I was able to borrow a special tool design for this from the local auto parts place for free. Apparently it's also something that Ford does.
