no local car shops have the bulb
only thing u can do it go to acura parts dept in brooklyn off kings hwy and nostrand . i warn u though its 20 bucks a bulb.... rip off....

1 - uhh, h3 is not easier to install since its not the stock size replacement. im not totally sure, but i think some members of this forum has used h3. try asking around to see how they did it if you choose to use the h3.
2- nah, i highly doubt that it will be brighter than your headlights. if im not mistaken, conventional halogen dont have a xenon charge to them, only HID's. as long as the wattage is up to stock specs 55-60 watts, it'll be just like stock. the only reason it will seem to be brighter is the coating on the bulb. but that wont matter if you still have your yellow cap in your foglights.
