+40 offset on 17's Will it Rub??
Im looking at getting some 17's but they have a +40 offset. I think i remember someone on the forum complaining about their 17's rubbing. Im putting 215/50-17's on them. Im not gonna spend any money if they are gonna rub.
Do any of you have 17" rims with a +40 offset and do they rub??
Or if i get them will they rub?
I drive a 98 2.5TL.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Sorry about that. No drop just stock, i plan on dropping it with the eibach pro kit. I wanted to know if they would rub even without a drop. I didnt even think about that, thanks for mentioning it. So i guess i have 2 questions now.
Will it rub without a drop?
And if i drop it about an inch will it rub?

it will not rub without a drop. i have the same rim...17x7 with 40+ offset...not dropped yet and it doesnt rub. i had 3 people sitting in the back seat and it came close to touching the tire! like 1" from sitting on the tire. so if you dropped your car and have 2-3 people sit in the back seat...you'll most likely rub. i have springs in my closet and still deciding if i want to drop it or not
