wonder why no one ever thought of this topic. just wondering how well we can keep up with our 2nd gen brothers. granted they have a 3.2L engine and ours are either 2.5 and 3.2, how do our times compare? maybe we should ask the people on the 2nd gen forum to race us. hehe that'd be interesting.

 

i will do it, they have 25 more horses but ma 3.2 has 10lbs. more torque. 1st gen way better new ones suk 2 me. i kno we have a much more solid car......

 

i like the body styling alot better our cars just look alot nicer
who cares whos faster you can only drive so fast before you get a ticket.

 

i also love the fact that our cars are unique. no one out there has our cars. that's the best part cause people rarely see our cars.

 

I think 1st gen TLs would have been pretty quick if they were offered with MT OR better auto trans. Since 2.5TL had firmer suspentions than 3.2TL It'd have been awesome if Acura offered 2.5TL with stick and sport package..sort of like the first generation Inspire Type-S that was sold in Japan (190hp)

IMO the gearing ratio in 2.5TL is...weird It's just not getting the most out of the engine. I don't know about 3.2TLs though.
Same here Not alot of people know that Honda used to make 5 cylinder engines.

 

I like the fact that our cars where made in Japan. The production is suppose to be more tighter.

 

wow you kidding about the inspire type S? that's pretty cool, the first time i heard anything about that. hehe now i can put a Type S sticker on my car and give it an extra 5hp. watch out 2nd gens i'm coming!!!
