YR528 Shoreline Mist Metallic paint?
I am trying to touch up the paint on the front bumper of my 2002. The color code is YR528, otherwise called Shoreline Mist Metallic. The local Autozone has YR524 Naples Gold and I got some of that, hoping (since the car looks gold) that it might be close enough.
After sanding, filling, glazing, primer, and painting, I find out it's just a shade too light. Looks ok in the shadows, but in the light of day, it's very obvious that it isn't right.
Duplicolor doesn't have the 528, I can't find it in any other brands around here and the local paint shop wants $44 for a half pint, but they can't guarantee that is's compatible with Duplicolor, so I should sand it down, use their primer and clearcoat. $$$?
Even the local Honda dealer only has the touchup lipstick size and refers me to the $44 shop.
Any hope here that I can get it in a nationally recognized brand and not have to chance brand x on ebay?

I once ordered touch up paint in spray can online to paint my front lip. They matched the color perfectly, better than the body shop that I got my front lip painted. I'll give you the website if you are interested. Make sure before you paint, you have to test the color first to determine how many coats it required.

I have the exact same paint color. I would be interested in the website as well.
Thanks.

Here you go, make sure you watch their how to videos. It is really helpful. I painted my front lip and it came out awesome, minus a lot of rock chip lol
