Will '01 CL in dash cd changer work in RL?

Will '01 CL in dash cd changer work in RL?
A buddy of mines has an in dash CD Changer from a 2001 Acura CL and I was wondering if it would fit/work in my 99 Acura RL??? Thanks in advance

i would think not - the wires might match up but it might not fit in place. and make sure his cd changer is not jammed - TL's and CL's have a long history of jamming CD changers. i just wouldnt do it cus i know if it hasnt jammed yet it will. just get an after market Cd changer i would suggest.

Where would you put it? The surrounding trim is different, the amplifier is different. Wiring harnesses are different. You're better off going aftermarket or getting a 2004 RL stereo.

I agree. Or you can get an FM antenna splitter. Basically you'd just turn your FM dial to 87.7 or something similar and that would be your iPod station. A physical connection rather than going over the airwaves. Just an option
