Rattle

My RL has recently developed a tattle when i rev it. It seems to be like loose metal. Does any one have any ideas on how to fix it. Its really annoying. I also have a rattle in my headliner. It seems to be coming from the back by the window and whenever i put the sunroof cover back it stops, or if i touch the headliner it stops. Thanks!

Headliner rattle is the sunroof cover, just carefully flex it around the edges.

The other rattle might be the heatshield around the catalytic converter. Either it is loose or maybe there is a rock stuck in there.

Yeah, you can take the heatshield off. Just let the car cool off for a while.

As for the sunroof cover, its hard to explain, but I "massaged" the rear edge with my hands. Did this on my '97 TL and it went away. Havent had the rattle on my RL (yet)
