My GF's RL - Anti-Theft Engaged in Stereo

My girlfriend just recently got her dad's RL and accidently triggered the alarm in the car and reset the stereo system and now it needs the code. We've been trying to find the vehicle manual but we can't find it. Can somebody help with finding the code for the stereo?? I wanna do something nice for my girlfriend and surprise her haha any help very much appreciated!

You can call the acura dealer with the VIN number and it will be in the service departments computer system.

Sometimes the security code is on a sticker under the coin box (left of steering wheel), sticker under ash tray, or sticker on left side of glove box. If there is no code sticker, you can take the radio out and take it to an Acura dealer and they will (usually) look up the code (from the serial numbers on the top of the radio) for free, the dealer will probably also ask for proof of vehicle registration and ID. Also you can search google for one of those companies that will send you your code for a fee (after you take your radio out and send them the serial numbers off the top cover).

You state it like the radio just "pops" out of the dash......It is a nightmare to get to the radio ! Most owners keep that card in a safe place for future reference.....like I do (In a safe with all my car documents....duh.....). There are NO numbers anywhere in my 2004 RL for security purposes !

I recently disconnected the battery because I am replacing headlamp bulb(may need its own thread) and got locked out of the stereo but did indeed find this sticker with 5 digits and it worked. Thanks!
