Just purchased a 2000 RL w/ 177,000 mi

My first Acura ever!
Very good condition, and well maintained.
Has had the H20 pump and timing belt replaced twice...at 60k and 120k. Has had the intake manifold decarboned at 120k,
New radiator at 140k. Power steering pump REBUILT at 140k.
90k major service done, 2 transmission services and a regular oil changes.

I paid $4600 for it. Is that a decent deal?
When will it need it's 3rd H20 pump and timing belt? Is it EVERY 60,000 miles?

Hello and welcome to the Acura family! They are great cars and when maintained, will run upwards of 250-300k! I just bought my 3rd Acura (a 04 RL with 130k on it) and I love it! I think you got your car for a decent price. I believe the timing belt/water pump is recommended to be replaced at every 105k. I may be wrong but I am pretty sure that is what I read.

With all of that service history and work, i would say that you paid a decent price. I thought the timing belt was to be done around 90-105k.

Welcome to Azine, and to the RL section. They're great cars when taken care of properly.

Thanks guys, I'll post some pics when I figure out how.
Car was garage kept so the peal white paint is almost like new. Front bumper has road rash ans needs to be repainted, and the clear coat is chipping off the rims. If I get those fixed the exterior will look like a 2 yr old car not a nearly 12 yr old car.
Any ideas on how much I should expect to pay for mobile rim repair/refinishing and to paint the front bumper?
I was guessing $200-$300 for the bumper and $300 to refinish all 4 rims, but I could be way off.

The pearl can be a b1tc# to match. Labor will vary depending on your location. Good luck and keep us posted. Oh and welcome.
