If I don't trade it in .... darn it I will lower it.

Been getting calls from local dealerships with promise of KBB+20% on the RL. I love it and don't want to sell, but am getting tempted if they are going to offer me close to what I paid for it 2 years ago.

We bought a new CRV for the wife a month ago, so I am probably going to hold on to the RL for now ..... but still .....

What would you do?

Also, if I keep it, I feel I need to lower it a bit, I hate wheel gap, but don't want to lose ride comfort as it is a dd for me. There are some options floating around here, but what have you guys used for lowering with new OEM shocks as an example (to keep the ride as compliant as possible)? I have heard Legend springs from Eibach but those are not available readily.

I wish I could go for a ride with someone who has a lowered RL locally, but have not found anyone here yet.

Thanks.

Really? 20% over?

I'm trying to sell mine and I get low-balled. Maybe I'll have to sell it in Portland.

I feel your pain, I didnt want to sell it and I couldnt find anybody with a lowered vehicle to ride with to get a feel of what a ride on coilovers would entail, but also what to look for. Unfortunately their was no one available or no one who I trusted I should say, to test their vehicle out. Im pretty satisfied now, I dropped about a inch and a half total all around.

I lowered my RL with Megan coilovers. Its been about 2 months now so far and no problems. I looked into lowering springs but I wanted the option of being able to adjust the ride height as well as the ride comfort.

Can you please provide me a link to the product (numbers) etc.? Very interested in investigating. So, how low is the highest setting? How does it compare to stock ride?

Thanks.
