I traded my 04 RL for WHAT?
Okay, gas hit $3.25 here in the sunshine state which brings my weekly fuel bill to about 100 bucks. They say that the refineries are not doing so hot, and with the summer driving season coming, well... 4$ a gal may come. I already drive my RL with feather light pedal power, but 16 to 17 mpg on premium fuel for a car with almost no umph just does not make sense. Still missing the power and fun of my 03 accord coupe, I went out and drove about ten vehicles.
I am still looking in my driveway, in shock over what I bought. 2007 Rav4 V6 with third row seating. 0-60 faster than a TL, seats 7, and my first highway trip at 75mph ran 30MPG on regular cheap gas. Somehow Toyota figured out how to give you a 270hp v6 that does not need premium, with the gas mileage of a four banger. This truck is about 10% smaller than my MDX, runs very smooth on the highway, and is scary fast. Kind of happy being a little off the ground, and having 4wd in an area that floods pretty often. I figure my fuel bill will be about 1700$ a year less (I drive a lot). So far no remorse, though my wife is very upset. I just could not enjoy my car, always watching that gas gauge move while I drove. Guess I will have to wait for the Acura Hybrids, if they ever come. Until then, you guys gotta try this thing. --Let the bloodletting begin...

Cajun Gumbo Man
$3.67 in Northern California....
I know how you feel when you drive these new cars these days....but a Toyot Rav rice rocket? Probably similar to my 07 RDX (Turbo Terror)...
My favorite is the 07 MDX. My RL just sits in the garage covered.......
