Smile Help in buying decision please 2003 RL Yes or no?

Good Day All,
First timer here and love this forum.
Wife and I are looking at a 2003 RL with Nav. Has 150K on odometer. Mostly nice inside and out. 8-8.5 out of 10. Nav screen not working. No service history. 2 owners so far. Wholeseller wants $5200 for the car. Drives nice and smooth. 80 mph on the highway with no shakes or rattles. I'm a little nervous about no info on timing belt, water pump, trans care, suspension parts, etc. Should I be or is this car just getting broken in. Wife really likes it but I man the checkbook. Should I fiqure that above mentioned I should factor another $1500 into the price to get it done asap or cross that bridge when I come to it. May take to local mechanic Monday to give it the go over.
Thanks in advance for any advice!

he is charging u more than the car is worth. i have an '02, clean inside and out, no factory nav. i got it with 177k on it and immediately did my homework. at that time it was worth $4900. keep in mind, it also had 2 previous owners, but it came with most of the service records. no accidents, all services performed, etc. it was/is a good car. i still had to put a good amount of money into it to get it running perfectly.

right now it has about 199K on it and it is running like a dream. i've done alot to the car tho. tune up, drilled & slotted rotors, ceramic brakes, transmission service/flush, i mix lucas oil treatment with synthetic, high milage oil, new tires, wheel alignment, just to name a few things. based off of the lack of solid info/history u have on the car, i'd factor in more like $2-3k as far as repair/maintenance budget. i'll have pics of my car up soon. hope this helps!

it sounds like its in good shape and its not much off the blue book of the year with those miles. that car in excellent shape kbb on it is $4800 so i would offer him less then that. i got my 99 with 150k with no navi for $3500. i would offer him less but does sound like a good buy. i would have a mechanic look at it. if it has no info on timing belt water pump power steering stuff any of that.

Thanks for the replies
Took to mechanic yesterday with so-so results mostly PM issues. Trans fluid dirty, low p. steering level, 30% brakes left, 40% tires left, minor oil leak but not sure from where. and other minor issues. Also no records so he said do t.belt/w.pump asap. More than I want to spend at this point so going to pass and keep looking.
Thanks for all the help!

Good deal on getting it checked out. btw that minor oil leak was probably a rear main seal leak which is about $900 job!
