Head lights and tail lights
Hey it's been a while. Just wondering if any one could tell me if they made a year of the RL without the amber in the corner of the head light? Or is it just a DIY cause iv had my head lights unfogged so many times it's starting to just stay that way so I need to get new ones any ways(fog lights too sadly) . And also what year was it that they had the clear part in the tail light? (No amber)

03-04 for taillight with clear part on top. For the headlight, it is a DIY you have to open up the headlight and remove the amber portion. I don't know about the JDM headlight, it might have clear corner you should check.

The JDM style do have clear corners on them. And what process are you using to restore your lenses? I had trouble restoring mine too but I figured out a process that works great.

I wet sanded them then slowly went to a finer gritt buffing compound and it's still in there it's a line going from one side to the other. And does any one have a link to the Jdm style lights?

It's slowly making progress haha. It's not quite ready for paint because it still needs more body work done to it. For restoring the lenses I start with the 3m drill kit. I go 800 (drill) > 1000 (by hand) > 1500 (by hand) > 3000 (drill) > polish twice
Notice how the top one looks clearer than the bottom one? In the top one I used the extended process and in the bottom a much shorter process. If your not spending enough time on the step it wont come out as clear as possible. Depending on how many scratches you have start with the 800 and just use it for quite awhile till your headlight feels very smooth before moving on. The first step is the most important.
And for JDM headlights search on ebay "jdm ka9" they tend to come up that way.
