H&R Springs
Hello all,
I recently contacted H&R europe to get a quote on some 2002 Acura RL/Honda legend KA9 springs because their the only ones I believe that makes them anymore and here is what "Ryan" had to say would love some feedback Please from all of you!
Thank you for taking the time to contact us. The European kit you are interested in, 29844-2 is actually available in the U.S. as part number 29844-1. This is the same kit we offer for the 91-95 Acura Legends, but uses the same springs as the Euro 29844-2.
Just a little warning in advance though:
We have never tested these Springs or approved them for use in a North American model 2002 Acura RL. I can’t really recommend that you use them, or tell you what kind of results you are going to get.
It is up to you, and If you have done the research and are confident enough that they are going to fit. We cannot offer warranty, returns or technical support on items that are used outside of their approved cataloging.
If there is anything else I can do to help please let me know.
Ryan

Why don't you get a coilover instead? So you don't have to go through all the trouble without knowing it will fits or not. I'm saving for a Megan street coilover around $800. There are a few coilovers that are in the ~$600 range.

Awhile ago I also inquired about those H&R springs for my RL but was never told this before. I assume that if that info is true, it should work on our RLs because the Eibach springs fit our RLs. I have the Eibach pro-kit springs for the 91-95 Legend on my '02 RL right now and they fit without any modifications and rides beautifully.

I have the megan coilovers but I want Tein's. So far no problems, just a lot of hope that they will do a better job of fixing and repairing the roads around here.

Hey guys thanks for replying I still really haven't decided on coilovers or springs considering it looks like the mugen's are around 800 and the springs probably run a couple hundred lower.
