Full size spare?

Hi,I am new to AcuraZine after purchasing a 96 RL with 109,000 miles. It was highly maintained and in excellent condition. This is my first Japanese car after 33 years with Volvos. My question is -can I put a full size spare in the trunk well.I don't like the fact that there is a "donut" for a spare.

is your question, Will a full sized tire fit in the trunk?
well, you could definitely take a look at your own trunk and figure that out.

I have a stock wheel for $ale if you are interested. I don't know, it might fit but it depends on your size "full spare".

Welcome! After 33 years it must be quite a change to move to Honda, I hope you like it.

A full size spare will fit, the well is designed to fit it actually. You need to remove the foam spacer for the donut, and it'll fit a full size fine.

I would assume you would put your flat full size tire there, correct? So it should fit.

I've actually thought about doing that myself, considering at one point I had four extra wheels lying around, but I didn't want to hassle with the foam spacers and letting the rubber rub around in the back and not being a perfect fit. In my case, it was better to have the spare than the full-sized wheel not being quite the right fit.
