fog light help

fog light help

ok so when i bought the car the fog light had a good size puddle of water in it. well i finally took it out today and emptied all the water out of it. and it doesnt work obviously lol. what else do i need to check for and as for bulb possibly being blown what kind of bulb do i get for the fogs?

H1 bulb. I would replace the bulb first and see if it works. My old housing was full of water for month's and the bulb still worked and only died at the very end before I replaced the housing. Check with a new bulb first.

hmm see thats what i though it was was a h1 bulb but after i pulled it out and check everything and emptied water this is what the back of my bulb looks like doesnt look like its h1 bulb looks like h7 bulb more. hopeing its just the bulb blew. if its not the bulbs what else could it be?

The bulb should be plugged into a special connection plug. Separate the two and go from there.

wait im confused lol. so the bulb is plugged into the double prong piece? so i just buy a new h1 bulb and plug it into the 2 prong piece put it back in to fog and try to see if works now?

Ok awesome will do friday when im free again let you guys know.the outcome lol. My friend happens to have a h1 bulb laying around so free fix if it works
