Ok i have a few questions, and rather than making a bunch of new threads, ill put them all here.

1. I have 1 12inch Alpine Type r. Its wired parallel. If i turn up the gain, low pass or bass boost, as soon as i turn off the car or head unit the thing goes crazy. Its a loud humming noise. I believe it is a bad ground. ANy suggestions? Also this is for the people that have systems: Where did you ground your amp to?

2. The rear end on my car is starting to sag and the ride isnt what it used to be( original springs, not sure about shocks and struts). I read some where i can use legend springs. I wanted to lower my car a tad. How would i go about doing this if i can use legend lowering springs. Also any recommendations on shocks/ struts?

3. I wanted to upgrade the rear sway bar and i know i can use the one off an 04 rl if i modify or buy the right bushings. What about the front? Could i use a tower bar off a legend with a little modification?

I cant figure out how to edit my post, but regarding number 1, it makes the humming noise only when i turn off the head unit, not when i turn the car off.

 

It is not properly grounded!

 

I should have posted this the other day. I was using the Hi input or something adapter that cam with my amp. It took the place of the line out converter. I decided to buy a LOC because i plan on upgrading my amp soon. The sound went away. Thank you for your input though.

 

regarding the rear sway bar. i doubt the parts are interchangeable between the 96-00 and 01-04.

the car dimensions are different with the 01+ being wider and longer.

if you would like to buy aftermarket parts for your RL, i would highly suggest looking into yahoo japan auctions or a vendor that can get parts from the honda legend in Japan. Japan has a huge market for the legend/RL compared to the US.
