CV Axle Stuck.

Hey. Wondering if there are any tips on freeing a stuck cv axle. I have rotated mine countless times and it doesn't work. It moved out like a third of an inch and now won't rotate after I used my hand and the flat end of a chisel like a prybar to hit it. Front right is the problem side.

The right side is directly into the differential. Be careful banging!! Most likely the locking ring is hung up. Thus happens for a few reasons: 1) fluid low and not lubricated correctly 2) it is coming out at an angle 3) when installed...installed incorrectly and bent ring 4) it is original to the cat.
What has worked for me is spraying WD40 in and around the CV Acle stem and wiggle it out. (Takes time and patience) Use lite taps with a small hammer(creates just enough vibration).
The driver's side...you can just beat out, no issues. It is connected to the extension!!
Hope this helps

Thanks for the advice. I think it slipped past the circlip, but is being held up due to me not being able to get a good angle. It has slipped half past the bigger part of the shaft. Plus it is OG to the car. 221K and 20 years in the salt belt. Plus 186K till first diff fluid change. I'm welding in some clamps to the inside of the inner cup and then adapting them to a slide hammer. Gonna try tomorrow. I will need all prayers from all known deities on this planet.

Also used a ton of PB Blaster at both the fully closed position and the half open position.

Its in the diff. Prybar does not work no matter the length, strength of tap, or intensity of tap.

Update. Slide hammer did not work. Threads stripped, welded the threads back on, then the welds broke on the end of the clamp. I noticed that I can easily pry it a fifth of an inch and then it stops. It looks like it is cocking downwards. Any tips before I cut the inner cup and rip the diff out?

Another update. It moved! But its still not out. See attached pics for details. Any possible tips/ways to deal with these sons of bitches? I am tired of this goddamn cv axle. This thing was sent from Hell below to ensure a really bad month for me. To top it all off, it does not move in anymore. I can not hammer it back in to ease it in and out. God help me.

Done.

Update: SHES OUT! Only took 2 months. I had to use a small flathead to tear the seal apart then used liquid wrench and the slide hammer to get it out. Had some weird damage on the surface that meets the bearing. Looks a-ok in the inside though. Now to wait 2 days for the new diff seal because the Duralast seal was less flexible than the old one and sheared apart when i attempted to put in in.

Finally.
