OK...next dumb question...is the ABS pump the same thing as the "modulator assembly"? And what is meant by "servicing" the pump? Thanks!

 

^ Yes, it's the same, and servicing can mean everything from ripping it out and rebuilding it to dusting it off. Most likely they'll just do a drain and fill.

I've been curious whats this buzzing noise about. I hear it whenever I first start the car and put it in drive drive it makes a bzzzzz sound and then thats the only time I hear it and no lights come on the gauge. think its the ABS pump? and is it normal or should I get it looked at?

 

It's the ABS modulator doing a self check.
