BRAKELIGHT lamps display in Odometer
Hi All
In my 98 RL odometer where there is a signal to see if any of the doors are open i noticed a display "BRAKELAMPS".
Then i see that my rear brake red light on driver side is not working. i checked with dealer and he said that only 12V output he is getting. I am scared that he will charge more than 100 bucks for this.
pl suggest if i can get the bulbs or any other good mechanic like midas, pepboys will do for cheap?

Don't worry about brake light. Either your dealer was trying to have the next victim or trying to test you if you knew any about your car. 12V is the set rated voltage of your car's battery (in reality it's between 11V - 14V). Glad that you could change it yourself. Now you start learning about your car more and that's good.
