Auxilary input or Ipod intergration 2004 Rl
Good afternoon I have been searching forum for help with either an auxilary port or ipod intergration for my model year "RL" has anyone been sucessuful in doing this or am I just out of luck?

What you can do is try to find a wiring diagram and pinout of your radio equipment. See if you can't identify which wires or contacts belong to your Sound R, Sound L, and Sound GND. Once you've got that, try to follow it through with how I wrote my DIY.
I think you can find the diagrams you need off of my DIY: Hard Disk to DVD Navigation Conversion. I've got tons of information links on there that I've acquired.

Okay, so I dug this up for you.
Do this at your own risk though, I'm not accountable for whatever you screw up. But I'd say connectors B5 and B6 are the ones that you want.
You can test this with a couple alligator clips and sewing needles. Poke the needles into the two wires we are concerned with (R+ and L+) and then attach the other side to your audio source (iPod or whatever). Put in a blank CD and play it. You should only hear your input audio now.
Follow my DIY auxiliary input instructions but instead, wire it up to the ones we've figured out for your '04. Remember you'll need to put in a switch so you don't just get noise.
