ABS and TCS lights on now.
I just drove from Detroit, MI to Miami, FL and back up to Cleveland, OH. During the process I lost ABS and TCS both. It sucked driving back through WV hills in a bad downpour with no ABS or TCS. Anyone know how to fix this? I really want to do it myself, and not overpay the dealership.
I also got lucky and just missed a bad natural gas line that burst on I95 near Jacksonville, FL.

This sounds like a speed sensor. If you have an OBDII code reader, you can diagnose which one yourself. I had to take mine to pepboys and then i replaced the one that was bad. My speed sensor was horrible to get out, but depending how many miles, age, and climate it may be easier. If you need any help with it just let me know

Have you got the tech manual? Get it at www.pdftown.com (search on "Acura RL"; 40MB; free). Section 19-105 has a guide to the 98-99 ABS. There is a another section on the TCS for 96 - 99. Both have troubleshooting and DTC information.
If you determine what is wrong and need parts, let me know as I have some from my '96. I don't have a wheel sensor....

Arg, I have done a speed sensor before. That was about a year back. The dealership did that. I also just noticed that is seems to be really lagging on the power. It takes some work to get it to 80 on the highway now.
