Hello everyone,

I found a thread similar but it got side tracked with another topic (no solution) so I decided to create a new thread.
I own a 2004 Acura RL here in New York and my horn doesn't work and the airbag light is on. The previous owner took it to the Acura dealer back in 2020 and they told him that they couldn't even get the blueprint to re-manufacture the clock spring (could be dealer feeding bs information). It turns out that there are also no after market parts, at least not if you want a quick release steering wheel.

What are my options? Does anyone know if an earlier year would work, I just need airbag and the horn to work. The only solution I can think of is getting lucky with the same year car in a junk yard and taking the clock spring.

 

What about your cruise control and stereo controls?

Salvage yard or ebay.

Seems like too many discontinued parts for a 2004 model. Very unfortunate.
