2000 Rl wheel spacers?

my 2000 rl has ugly beat up stock rims and i want to upgrade to a 17" 2009-2012 tl rim but the tl rims are 5x120 where my rl is 5x114.3 i found wheel adapters for 70 a pair but im worried the offset will be too much, has anybody else ever attempted this

what size are the adapter? cause the offset of those wheels is +55.. i have used spacers on pretty much most of my previous cars and adapters as well. i can help just need to know what adapter and size and stuff and could tell you if they will work lol. i mean they are easy to use should just bolt on and go. like i said i have used before never really though they were safe lol but always worked when i did use them lol

you might be better off just looking for a %x114 wheel or even a 5x112 wheel and using wobble lug nuts

^^ true. but adapter arent that bad just may put your wheel out quite a good distance. but being as they are 55 offset wheels and adapter is probally a 20-25 mm adapter should push them out to about what my wheels are at.

You might need a slight roll and pull to make that work... do you plan / want to tuck the tires into the rear quarters at all?

i would think it's easier to just get some rims that are your lug pattern.

^^ honestly adapters are just as easy. they just bolt on and you bolt the wheels on. only issue he will have is that it will push the wheel out more then what orginal offset is. have used many adapters and have had friends run them. just as easy lol
