I have a similar issue on my 05 RL one night I went to get air in the tires put gas in it went to 2 stores and on the way home the car just died while slowing down to make a turn into the street I live on.
the car cranks but doesn’t start, I recently replaced the plugs and coils back in August and the timing belt has roughy 5 to 6k on it. The fuel pump wouldn’t turn on so I replaced relay and then the pump, the battery then wouldn’t hold a charge I replaced the battery as well since it was close to 6 years old. The car still Just cranks over and doesn’t start it wants to start. Everything turns on lights navigation air etc just turns over.
I went through and disconnected the fuel lines to see if it’s getting fuel and it is. Spark I don’t know there is nothing to ground so see if it’s getting a spark. Im going to try a old trick with the coil and spark plug to see if it’s getting a spark when I get home.
there is No check engine lights, I unplugged the MAF to see if there is a issue with it reading error codes, but it Came up with the MAF error.
I called the dealership and they are also stumped.
they said check the crankshaft sensor and the timing belt. But the timing belt is new.
I don’t think the 05s have a main relay I couldn’t find it anywhere or anywhere online.
did anyone get a fix for this?
