04 RL (First Gen) need Alpine GPS service info
Sorry for posting, I know it is an old topic but I can't find the thread. I want to get my GPS serviced.
I was getting all the GPS rebooting, lost audio for GPS, all the regular RL GPS issues. Now it reties to reboot but can't and I can't use the screen to control the rest of the car...like the fan for the A/C or heat. My local Acura service dept is not helpful nor do they have an honest reputation.
The trunk is clean. the DVD is clean. I can't see any loose wires.
I want to sell my RL and figure I will be able to do so much easier if the screen works and GPS boots up correctly.
Need help from the community. Need larger vehicle for family and have to sell my RL. Please send me the info for getting teh GPS unit serviced and any recommendations for getting the screen to work and anything else I have to do the get my RL ready for sale.
