Whats a Safe tire size to use with Stock rims ?
Im in the market for 4 new tires for my wifes RDX. Id like to get the Conti Extremes but discount tire doesnt have the stock size. Is there another size tha'ts safe to use with stock rims ?

if you google "tire calculator"
you can punch in the stock tire specs and then you can compare with other sizes.
the tire calculator will tell you how much you're deviating from OEM tire specs.

Nice tire, good grip, low road noise, low price. 45-60k mile tire.

I have the Yokohama Avid Envigor on my stock rims. I agree with Marco. I had to replace one recently and bought it from Tire Rack for about $200. Nice tire!
