I recently inquired with a tire supplier on these tires and he came back with the OE tire rating not being met. The OE rating is "V", whereas the Nokians are "H". I looked these codes up and "H" is speed rated 210km/h, whereas the "V" is 230kmh/h.
Given that I've never exceeded 145km/h in the 73,000kms I've put on it, should I care?

You should buy the best tire you can afford. The only thing that comes between your car and the cold hard pavement are your tires. They are the most important saftey device on your vehicle. This is the one area you should not be cheap in.

Thanks. These are anything but cheap tires. At $324 a piece I hope I'm getting a very good tire. That said, is there really much difference in speed rating H and V?
